Design Team Call!!!

Hey everyone! Jessica here with an EXCITING announcement and details on our FIRST Design Team call! Everyone is encouraged to apply!

My first announcement is of our FIRST Design Team member Lisa B.! Wait til you see what she has been creating behind the scenes!

We have outlined exactly what we are looking for in our design team members. If you should have any questions or concerns, please email us at the email provided at the bottom of this post!

Term: March 1st, 2012 through August 31st, 2012

Benefits of designing for Shabby Chic Stamp Co.:

• TWO FREE stamp sets each month {from our monthly releases}.

• 20% off any additional stamps from our store the length of your term.

• DT badge to display on your blog.

• Custom watermark to use for your Shabby Chic Stamp Co. photos. {Not required}

• Exposure with links on our blog, and features on our Facebook page and newsletters.

• Cross promotion with other paper-crafting companies through our blog.

What we're looking for:

• An active blog that you've maintained for a minimum of 6 months!

• Positive attitude, team players, people who are willing to share feedback and communication within our Design Team Facebook Group.

• Support fellow teammates by visiting their blogs often & leaving feedback.

Designers will be asked to:

• Post TWO blog posts per month on our company blog.

• Create ONE project for at least one of our challenges each month. {We will begin challenges when we have grown a good sized customer base. These challenges will most likely be color and sketch challenges.}

• Create ONE project for our sneak peek week each month. {We will showcase your project on our company blog and ask that you simultaneously post to your own personal blog.}


• Maintain a current gallery in Splitcoaststampers {for Shabby Chic Stamp Co. creations, please use keyword: "shabbychicstampco"}

• Upload your creations to our Flickr group and pin on Pinterest.

• Encourage fans of Shabby Chic Stamp Co. to participate in our challenges and view our blog by promoting our links on Facebook, Twitter, your blog, and any other outlet you choose. Social networking is huge for us, so we ask that if you have a Facebook account or Twitter account, that you help us spread the word about our stamps.

1. Your full name, email address, phone number and a link to your blog {if you do not want to provide your phone number, please supply an alternate contact method.}

2. Your creative resume, if applicable.

3. Photos or links to 3-5 favorite stamped projects you've created. {We'd LOVE to see creations where you've used a fun or interesting technique!}

4. Any current DT's you are on or have been on. It is absolutely ok if you are on another DT, we just want to be sure everyone can commit to the DT requirements we have.

5. Why you think you you'd be a great fit for our design team! This call is open to ALL paper crafters - show us your creativity!

This call will remain open until February 29th - 11:59 pm PST.
